On Thursday December 10th, LAVA Collective is programming a multimedia hip hop event at The Gramaphone on Commercial Street.
Edan The Dee-Jay is in town to promote his new record Echo Party, and he's marking the occasion with a 2 hour Dj set. Joining Edan will be legendary New York photographer Ricky Powell, who brings his 'World Famous Slideshow' to London for the first time. Jehst will be performing live, and Kris Jones (Deep Medi, Soul Jazz) and the LAVA DJs will provide musical support. The evening will commence at 8.30 pm with a screening of the Echo Party video, directed by Tom Fitzgerald.
