Peru Ana Ana Peru

Peru Ana Ana Peru are on a mission to redecorate New York. Their beautiful hand-made posters liven up the city’s darkest corners, injecting humour and vivacity into desolate spaces. Yesterday they let us come round to their studio for a sneak preview of their forthcoming show. We were hoping to pick up some silk screen prints, but we didn’t quite realise how unique each poster actually is. They don’t mass-produce their work, its more a case of making each one for a specific place or person.
So we looked through their photo stream and talked about their work, and after some deliberation we picked out our favourite pieces. Based on what we said they are preparing a body of work especially for our show. Trite as it may sound I found Peru Ana Ana Peru to be dazzling, inspirational and bursting with creativity. I love them to bits and I can’t wait to bring their work to London.
