About
LAVA Collective [London Audio / Visual Art Collective] was founded in Summer 2009 to provide a platform in London for emerging artists from around the world. From our Dalston headquarters we will be coordinating a series of visual art and music events in choice locations throughout the Capital.
Our objective is to showcase artists who have not yet established themselves in the UK, but that we have identified as exciting prospects with the potential to be a big hit on these shores. We will feature our pool of new talent alongside some more familiar figures from the worlds of visual art and music. High profile guest artists will be used to generate interest and attract crowds to our events, so that our London debutantes have the chance to make an instant impact.
As the collective develops we will look for new ways to help our stable of artists to publicise and distribute their work, in London and beyond.
